VENDORS

Listen, you can’t do a show without vendors. These are some of my favorites I’ve worked with over the years.

Album cover art with a surreal landscape of a river, green hills, mountains, and a colorful sky with a full moon and stars. A person stands on a small sphere, holding a briefcase, with a transparent bubble around them. The text reads 'Kiefer It's OK, B U'.

Pargas is a textbook Virgo about his work: detail-obsessed, always willing to stay late, never satisfied with good "enuff." He's already excellent at art and graphic design, yet still treats every project as a chance to learn. Ask for a graphic, don't be surprised if a gif shows up in addition.

GRAPHIC DESIGN & ART DIRECTION

A candle and a perfume bottle with packaging on a rocky, Mars-like landscape with stars in the night sky background.
Crowd of people at an outdoor event at night, with a stage or structure illuminated in the background and equipment set up for broadcasting or recording.

Andy is one of the all time greats. He’s taught me to have a better eye for the aesthetic for an event. He loves to remind me that “just because it’s rock and roll, doesn’t mean it needs to look shitty”, and you know what - he’s not wrong.

VISUAL PRODUCTION DESIGN

MS Event Productions has come through for me more times than I can count. Well known in the industry already, but here nonetheless because if you don’t know about them, you should.

AUDIO VISUAL PRODUCTION

Logo for Mission City Photo Booths featuring a cartoon cat holding a camera and giving a thumbs-up.

Mission City Photo Booth is run by brothers Aldo and Andres, and the pricing and print quality are so good I hired them for my own wedding. Aldo's also a man of many hats (literally, he makes them over at CRIMINALIZED) but running two crafts at once never gets in the way of how he handles business.

EVENT PHOTO BOOTH

A young man with a mustache wearing a gray hoodie and a black cap standing outside a brick building with signs reading "Gala" and "Cocktails".

Paul Slater is my go-to the moment live music is involved. He's a production and tour manager who makes micromanagers look like amateurs, mostly because there's nothing left to micromanage. Whatever question you're about to ask, he answered it before you thought of it.

PRODUCTION AND TOUR MANAGER

A young woman with green and yellow hair, wearing a black tank top, tattoos on her arms and chest, a septum piercing, and a choker necklace, against a plain white background.

I met Chelle in the middle of a crisis, stepping in when our coworker went down with heat exhaustion at Punk Rock Bowling and we've been working events together ever since. She's also a musician, DJ, tooth gem installer, and model, because apparently one skill set was never going to be enough for her.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

A woman with light skin, black hair, and blue eyes, wearing makeup, holding a bouquet of pink and orange flowers, dressed in a shiny, peach-colored outfit, against a plain gray background.

Ask anyone in the LA music scene about Kat Nijmeddin and you'll get the same answer: she's one of the most loved photographers around. She's unapologetically into music, which means she shoots events like she actually cares, because she does. Kind, genuine, ridiculously talented, and somehow still humble.

PHOTOGRAPHER

Carson is always working on projects that surprise me, and he always seems to be the one behind projects I’m surprised by. If you need a creative fabrication built, Carson is tapped in and connected with a world of artists to help your vision come to life.
